New immigration category Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) scheme launched for international students

Thursday 25 October 2012

What is Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur)?

Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) is a new immigration category to allow graduates with world-class innovative ideas or entrepreneurial skills to stay in the UK to develop their business under the supervision of their academic institution. You must be in the final year of your studies at Queen Mary to apply, or have very recently graduated.

How does Queen Mary select applicants?

To apply for Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) immigration permission, you need an endorsement letter from Queen Mary. To obtain this letter, you must pass the Queen Mary Endorsement Scheme selection process. The College will use this process to identify viable business ideas and to establish the extent of your commitment and ability to run your own business in the UK.

Where can I get more information?
